Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, from NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. As the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the field of space and has spent the last five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. During that time, she was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president and the 2020 presidential election and the efforts of two administrations to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. Additionally, she was on numerous trips with president and vice president and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She is married to her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
